La serie 'TRANSITAR' ofrece una exploración de cómo comprendemos y nos movemos por los espacios que habitamos. A través de cada pieza, se transforma el medio textil en un diálogo entre el espacio físico y el metafórico, utilizando el bordado a mano para trazar rutas simbólicas que reflejan las sendas de nuestra existencia humana.
¿Cómo definimos los límites de nuestro entorno y cómo estos a su vez configuran nuestra percepción del mundo? 'TRANSITAR' está inspirado en estas preguntas, utilizando formas abstractas que sugieren la fluidez y la constante evolución de los espacios que nos rodean. Los bordados, meticulosamente ejecutados, funcionan como metáforas visuales de las rutas que elegimos o nos vemos obligados a seguir, revelando cómo estos caminos impactan y dan forma a nuestra percepción del mundo y de nosotros mismos.
Esta serie es una invitación a reflexionar sobre la naturaleza del movimiento y del espacio. Cada obra propone que el acto de transitar no es solo un desplazamiento físico, sino también un proceso introspectivo y transformador así como una meditación sobre nuestras propias vidas y los espacios que ocupamos. A través de esta serie, somos invitados a considerar cómo los límites y las rutas que percibimos o imaginamos pueden redefinir continuamente nuestro mundo y nuestra forma de estar en él.
The 'TRANSITAR' series offers an exploration of how we understand and move through the spaces we inhabit. Through each piece, the textile medium is transformed into a dialogue between physical and metaphorical space, using hand embroidery to trace symbolic routes that reflect the paths of our human existence.
How do we define the boundaries of our environment and how do these in turn shape our perception of the world? 'TRANSITAR' is inspired by these questions, using abstract forms that suggest the fluidity and constant evolution of the spaces around us. The meticulously executed embroideries function as visual metaphors for the routes we choose or are forced to follow, revealing how these paths impact and shape our perception of the world and ourselves.
This series is an invitation to reflect on the nature of movement and space. Each work proposes that the act of transit is not only a physical displacement, but also an introspective and transformative process as well as a meditation on our own lives and the spaces we occupy. Through this series, we are invited to consider how the boundaries and routes we perceive or imagine can continually redefine our world and our way of being in it.
